Re: 1 year post removal-am I crazy???
Your story is very much like many of us. Yes, it's the Mirena causing your issues. I got pregnant (surprise!) about 1.5 years after I had mine out (had heart palps, anxiety, panic attacks, brain fog, etc, etc.) and that pregnancy was tougher than my two previous. I had much worse morning sickness, low energy, and many odd mirena sysmptoms. I had to give my body as much rest as it needed. I spent so much time on the couch! I had the same tests as you, all came back normal. Not to worry you, but just inform you - I ended up having my blood pressure shoot up AFTER delivering my baby, which is rare I guess Usually preeclampsia happens before delivery. It never happened with my first two. So keep an eye on your blood pressure. But my 3 1/2 year old is happy and healthy! If you haven't already, make sure to get your Vitamin D levels and Thryoid levels checked, and rechecked over the next few years. Many of us have had issues with those especially.
Be assured that you will get better over time, but be patient with yourself, and rest as much as possible. Exercise and a
healthy Diet help.
Avoid caffeine (I still can't have it, almost 6 years after removal) And congratulations on your pregnancy!
I hope you'll post back on your progress.
