I read an article called Sir Thomas Browne and the disease called morgellons by C.E. Kellett. Written in 1935.It had hand drawn pictures of the "worms" that caused the hair disease in children back in the 1700s.It was an interesting article and made me think this may be some kind of mutation of that.
