My advice for children would be to add some boron, as it makes the (often lack of) magnesium retain in the body.
I treated a few ADHD kids, they all had a very low body temperature, Iodine is the one thing I know that can bring it up.
Also, the Iodine is what runs the action of the show, you can take all the other companions, but nothing happens until you up the iodine.
Giving small dosages, I can understand, same as the titrating upwards. But giving too little would be as giving a dehydrated plant just enough water to survive, but not enough to thrive.
