Re: Iodine is the cure for Brain Fog
I hope so...
I started out with 12.5mg Iodoral and felt o.k. Second day I went with the 12.5mg again and felt crappy (and by crappy I mean brain fog, lack of concentration, poor memory, trouble finding words and communicating my thoughts). Third day I reduced to 6.25mg and felt crappy again. Then went down to 1/4 tablet and felt crappy, so I stopped for a couple of days. Something kept telling me that this is what I needed though. I want so desparately for this to work. So I tried 50mg after a 2 day break. The symptoms weren't as bad as the lower doses. I took a one day break. Then I tried 100mg. It is hard for me tell how that went because I slept very poorly the night before and felt crappy all day.
For selenium I have been eating brazil nuts, but will pick up some selenomethionine, as well as some boron and D3.
I have been taking vitamin C, B complex and magnesium.
So far I haven't really benefited from Iodoral, but maybe its too early to tell and the lack of a significant selenium source may also be to blame.
