zootmem: Specimens Might Be Whipworms - Trichus Trichiura

zootmem -

The short, wide, flat-shaped ones with a snout on one end look almost like intestinal flukes --- but the longer plump ones with skinny tails look like Whipworms (Trichus Trichiura)?!#

Whipworms are voracious blood suc***s.  Has recent bloodwork shown low RBC, low B-12, and/or iron-deficiency anemia?

Hope this info helps you ID these critters!

Cheers -- ICU
