Hi lllys,

My daughter is downs syndrome and is 32. She became a diabetic at age 4. I have to check her blood 12 times day and night. Her latest A1C was 6.0

Even though the TSH readings are virtually useless. A reading of 1.37 TSH is a good place for most supplementing iodine. Although for those taking Armour they will have to reduce Iodine intake according to blood work as it will ultimately push their TSH treading to a much lower (Hyperthyroid) reading, I know because of regular blood work.
