Re: Irregular and fast heartbeats, sometimes accompanied by faintness - HELP

Hi there, I am in a very similar position except I began with pains in the upper chest which my doctor thought was reflux and prescribed me with omeprazol this went on for three months until the pain got so bad I couldnt work. Then they gave me domperidone and laxido to help the food through my system. I then saw another doctor who is a gastro specialist who said he did not think it was gastro related because I was still getting chest/back pains so he took me off all the meds and put me on beta blockers which also did not help, and I had been taking them a month. The pain in my back is so bad and flares up when I am active like hoovering or just light walking ( I can not even walk around an ASDA at pensioners pace. I have had an ECG (30 second one) which they said was normal but it simply does not feel like it, I get a fluttery/palpitations when still or moving. I am now waiting on having the camera down to check my gut, my doctor did say he would do a treadmill type ECG if I was still concerned but said he wasnt because of my age (35). In fact I bought an ECG monitor from a reputable source on-line which records up to 20 readings so you can print them out and take them to the doctors and it is throwing up a mix of tachy and freqPCV readings with a heart rate of between 61 and 140. I also have increased burping, light headdness, thumping heart beat, sometimes a static pain in the front of my chest under my breast (female). I also have an under active thyroid.

This may not help you any, but I will update info if I gat any news, just nice to know sometimes that someone else is going through the same thing.
christine.
