J Crow's MSDS says the same thing. MSDS data is provided to give legal protection to manufacturers from being sued by end users. They always overstate dangers. Of course it would be foolish to drink a whole bottle of Lugol's in one sitting. They don't want to decide what a safe dose is lest they get sued by someone who is sensitive therefore they say it is not to be ingested, external use only. If you didn't know, the majority of the medical community doesn't endorse Dr. Brownstein's ideas about Iodine supplementation. We know he is right (but take the co-factors also). Here is the MSDS for J. Crow's Lugol's solution:

Notice it says: HAZARDOUS IN CASE OF INGESTION

We know there are safe levels of ingestion.
I hope this clears the confusion up.
