New Iodine Journey
Greetings Curezone. I have started taking
Iodine and just looking for some feedback. I am a 33 year old male living in Los Angeles. No health problems. I started reading about taking
Iodine on the internet and thought it sounded interesting. I have been surfing in the ocean, and was concerned about fukushima radiation which is probably how I stumbled across iodine. I am also a bit paranoid about chemtrails and am always noticing them spraying the sky above Los Angeles. Oh, I also do have many mercury fillings. I just thought I should mention that as I have seen it come up a number of times in these forums.
I first tried taking
Lugols 2% around the beginning of december. I did not read enough about supplementation, so I was taking it by itself. First day was fine, I was taking 3 drops in the morning. 2nd day I started getting a runny nose and headaches. The next few days the headaches increased I started getting flu like symptoms and very achy. I also noticed in my armpit and at the bottom of my foot a painful boil was forming. I assumed I was detoxing through my lymph nodes in my armpit..wasnt sure about my foot but figured it was toxins being expelled. This is when I read more online and started salt flushing. It didn't really help, maybe a little bit with the headaches. So, after a few days of this, I stopped taking iodine. FYI, I was drinking reverse osmosis filtered water and I was using Mortons
Sea Salt , which I later read contains an anti-caking agent!!
All of february, I was sober…stopped drinking and smoking. I researched more, and purchased some Magnesium Citrate, Selenium and Milk Thistle. So yesterday I started taking 3 drops of
Lugols in the morning along with my new supplements. Oh, I am also taking a mens Multivitamin (NOW Adam). Today as well, and so far so good. I also plan on getting some Ester Vitamin C and ATP Cofactors soon. I have been drinking about 1/3 teaspoon of pink himalayan salt in warm water about 2 times a day as well.
I hope this time around the detox will be…not so gnarly!
Thanks for reading!
