Nystatin, Difflucan and Doxycycline together

Hi everyone,

I've been battling with several other symptoms that point strongly to symptomatic candidiasis. My Candida IgG was high (couldn't get IgA and IgM done in my country) and the complete stool analysis also showed signs of candida albicans. I've been following a pretty strict candida diet for six weeks and have had a parasite cleanse recently.

The complete stool analysis mentioned Nystatin as a potential antifungal for my candida so the doctor advised me to take three one million unit capsules per a day. After doing this for a few days I saw a very experienced doctor that specialises in infections and he advised me to take Difflucan and Doxycycline for two months in order to get all the little inflammations in my body better and to keep candida in check. However, he prescribed 100mg Difflucan capsules (one per a day), but I read about a study where Doxycycline actually works synergisticly with Difflucan against candida, but only at 200mg per day. Some people also recommend taking Difflucan and Nystatin together to attack candida. Now to my questions:

1. Can I take Doxycycline, Difflucan and Nystatin together? I know there's risks in each medication, but is there anything especally dangerous about this combination?

2. Should I double the dose of Difflucan to 200mg a day? I could see another doctor and thus get another prescription that way.

3. Is two months of Doxycycline enough? I've read about some Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) protocols where people have been taking Doxycycline for a lot longer time. However, I'm naturally worried that I won't make my candida worse this way.

It'd be wonderful if someone could share his/her knowledge and help me with this, because I've found out that the best way to try to get ones health sorted is to gather information and then try to find doctors that are willing to work things my way. Thank you so much!
