Re: Body trapped in time zone ? Circadian cycles ?
hi jo, thankyou for sharing your story. mmm... ME/CFS (if that's what you have) does keep us on our toes by forever throwing up new puzzles for us to play with! i am sorry to hear your apparent remission faded again, that is so frustrating..it's so good just to feel normal again for a while, and i for one, always believe it'll last forever this time...anyway, a few thoughts about your experience: I suspect what happens in these sorts of cases is that when we have to really reach for the energy/brain clarity to deal with a major challenge -
like you getting yourself back to qatar when u were feeling so sick, and then missing out on sleep en route, we summon up what wd in a healthy person be our fight/flight emergency energy reserve i.e. adrenalin, and are able to then function really well for a while, just operating on the spare fuel tank (that's when everyone tells us how well we're looking now, glad to see you're better now, etc..LOL) but of course that energy supply is only designed for short-term use - eventually it gets used up and then the adrenal gland itself gets exhausted from working so hard to keep up with such unprecedented demand! this happened to me, and was only identified and put right by a very good naturopath. ahh, running out of space .. 2B continued...
