Hey guys,
I've had this enormous fatigue that started as a noticeable but very bearable 'jetlag' feeling. Foggy brain, long time waking up after rise, slower in general...
It happened as I came back from Montreal to Qatar, then went to France for the summer. Never stopped worsening since. That's July 2006.
A very strange thing happened last summer (September 2013).
I was in France for the summer, and I started another hugely destructive phase of my fatigue where I just get much worse daily, noticeably. Like, things I could do a week ago, now impossible.
The very thought of returning to Qatar felt draining and an impossible, Gargantuan task. As it went, I managed a fine effort at the airport, and couldn't sleep on the plane. Arrived in Qatar, had survived the trip, and felt relatively energetic, despite the obvious drowsiness from the sleepless night.
What happened after that was for the next 2-3 weeks, I felt MUCH BETTER. First time in 7-8 years I'd ever felt better.
Things like TV noise and light, movement, loud sounds, people talking to me weren't a bother anymore.
I could start talking to ppl around the afternoon, just some hours upon waking.
I even remember talking to my dad about an hour after waking and having a short but agitated argument (!!)
It wore off with time. Like a spell dissipating in the air, like Cinderella's midnight. Now I'm back to a destructive pattern again, every day deeper in the hole.
The thing is I suspected the not-sleeping to be the trigger. But I tried another one some 3 weeks ago (late Jan.) to no avail at all. In fact that's when I got into the destructive rhythm again.
Could it be...traveling ? Going from France to Qatar ??...
Thought it was interesting to tell.
God bless, and keep on working to get better people. We ain't come this far for nothin'.
