Yes this is so. At least for me, I know everyone's body is different so I will speak for myself. I was extremely sensitive to caffeine, I would get muscle spasms after drinking anything with caffeine in it and I wouldn't sleep at all. I started drinking massive amounts of green tea and I used to make my own Kombucha as well with green tea and black tea, I stopped that because I think it gave me candida, I never had yeast infections before drinking that stuff. I developed problems with candida due to kombucha. Once I went off green tea, it took me about 3 months to recover, I don't know if I had adrenal fatigue, I was never formally diagnosed but I would lay in bed feeling like a truck ran over my body and I couldn't get up, I was soooooo tired. Now I can have small amounts of caffeine in raw cacao powder which I boil but 2 tablespoons and maybe it's the magnesium in the cacao but I can sleep and I feel energy but not jitters.
