I don't really remember everything I was taking alongside of glutamine. It was such a long time ago, I think I started taking it in 2011 or 2010. I know for a fact that I was taking magnesium supplements, but that is the only supplement I can remember taking. Maybe B-vitamins as well, but I just don't remember. However, like I said originally said I was only taking it for a month or so. So I didn't see its full effect.
In addition, everybody's body is different. So what might not help me, will possibly help you. I never took any protein shakes after my workouts. Glutamine could have possibly helped your odor, but have you ever considered that it was some other component? I'm pretty sure if you were anything like me, you take a number of supplements.
How do you know it was the protein shake, and not something else? You said it yourself that glutamine is in a lot of meat products. However, people who continuously eat meat have problems smelling. I don't want to discourage you from trying it, but I think you're going to end up with the same results as me... which is nothing
