Re: How long after removing IUD should I expect symptoms

Thanks for responding! It's so nice not to be alone with this. My doctors were very supportive of having my IUD removed, but seem shocked that my period hasn't come back and my pelvic pain is still significant. They are essentially out of ideas.

My estradiol level last week was 85 pg/mL. My LH was 19 mIU/mL and my FSH was 5 mIU/mL. But, since we don't know where I am in my "cycle," (I haven't had a period since getting Mirena), the numbers are next to impossible to interpret. They didn't check my progesterone levels; I'll have to ask about that.

I'm on a vitamin D prescription now; hopefully that will help things. Oh man, 2 years of struggling with symptoms like this... that's heartbreaking. I'm glad you finally feel better though. Tweet
