How long after removing IUD should I expect symptoms

Hi everyone, I'm new here, so hope I'm doing this correctly.

I removed my IUD about a month ago (after having it a year) when I couldn't take the aching breasts, weight gain, depressive symptoms, rock-bottom sex drive, and sometimes excruciating pelvic pain (esp during and after sex). And the weirdest thing: my breast size has been reduced dramatically (2 cup sizes smaller, despite GAINING 10 lbs). I blamed it on the Mirena, and was hopeful that once I had it removed the symptoms would subside.

It's been a month, and none of my symptoms have gotten better. Still no period, still the same pain and breast tenderness, still no sex drive, etc.

The docs are at a loss. They've run every test they can think of, and nothing pops up as suspicious. Slightly low vitamin D levels, and slightly higher than normal LH levels, but nothing to be alarmed by. My pelvic ultrasound showed absolutely nothing remarkable. At this point I'd try anything to get my body back. My question for you: how long did you have to wait before starting to return to normal? Tweet
