The surface area of the intestines is roughly equal to the size of a tennis court, so when the intestines are involved, the infection could be truly massive. Small wonder its so hard to cure.

Everyone is affected differently. I never had any nail fungus either, but I did have angular stomatitis, and still have incurable skin lesions.
