New to the forum- help with HMA results please :)

Hi Everyone,

I'm new to the forum- I was sent here by my friend Faith who is a regular poster. I'm a bit confused about the results of my recent HMA, so she suggested that I post it here and maybe some of you can help me get a clearer picture of what's going on. A short backstory- I'm 31 and I've had AF for about two years now, it got way worse before it started getting better. I was bedridden for almost a year, but now am able to function again somewhat normally thanks to the guidance that my friend has been giving me. I am still not able to work or have a "normal" week, but my really bad days are getting fewer and further between.

Here is the first HMA I got back in March. At this time I was SEVERELY ill and could barely walk. I was following the NB program from an ARL practitioner but was doing my best to follow the dietary recommendations because I could not tolerate the supplements.

I was on a zero carb paleo type diet with loads of cooked veggies and protein, but it seemed I was getting sicker and sicker. Then I met Faith in another health forum and she turned me onto the Failsafe diet.vEventually, as my food intolerances started getting better, she got me onto the Peatarian type diet that is working for her. From what I understand this diet is a lot like 80/10/10, only with certain meats and dairy added in. It's been about 4 months and I feel so much better than I did before! I recently took another HMA test, this time with TEI to see where I stand as compared to back in March when I was bedridden. Here are the results:

I can obviously see that my minerals have improved a lot! What I am confused about is the super high calcium and magnesium. Also my sodium is really high, but I thought this was a good thing as people with AF tend to have sodium issues. I'm not salt loading, just salting my food at meal times. These levels are so confusing, but I know I'm doing better just based on how I feel as compared to before.

I would really appreciate any insight as to how to interpret these results. The lab was very vague! Thank you all so much!
