I think it just may be a part of the explanation why you may have problems tolerating (properely digesting) some foods.
It may also give you a motivation to insure that your future kids or grandchildren do get real breast milk, so they avoid to share som of your destiny.
To avoid smelling, you will have to find out what is it that you are eating, but you should avoid.
One way to find that is the elimination diet.

For the start, it may help eliminating everything and anything processed or mixed by food industry. And anything with
Sugar added.
Soy lecithin, soy and eggs may be on your list of avoid foods.
Cheese too.
One thing that helps a lot with
Body Odor is physical excercise and natural sweating.
If you could find 2 hours per day, every day, to excercise and to sweat, you would probably eliminate the bad smell the rest 22 hours of the day.
