Decisions can be affected by brain fog you are fasting for
Could it be just the brain fog speaking? - that little voice that sometimes wants us to abandon a good undertaking. Not your true healthy brain ... Fasting will definitely help but may require much longer or maybe more numerous fasts. I conquer with Trimnut that you need to pace it correctly and think about good nutrition and stay clean from toxins.
Also, if you do not rethink your diet, prescription drugs, environmental factors, etc, you may find yourself in a cycle of improvement-worsening state.
I looked up your post-history.
RECREATIONAL DRUG, MARIJUANA inclusively definitely can be a culprit for brain fog. If you smoke in between your fasts, or use other drugs, you can't expect clear mind. Also someone who has bad breath while fasting or even while not eating between meals is carrying around a lot of toxins. You can't blame the short fasts for not having effect. You need to be more diligent and responsible. I did not mean this to be a tirade of wisdom, but this is how it turned out. Hope it helps you continue.
BTW you can use water to brush teeth, scraper to scrape tongue, plenty of rinsing even between tooth brushing, and cotton swabs even to remove gunk from teeth. Digestion is activated already in the mouth when you taste something, like tooth paste, via complex neural reflexes, don't listen to people who tell it has to reach the stomach to signal digestion.
