Re: hemangioma

Hi,

Last week I was told I have to giant hemangiomas one 16cc and one 6cc. I have been in a great deal of pain in my shoulder, rib cage and back. My liver is not functioning properly and my cholesterol skyrocketed to 380. I have not had the MRI yet only an ultrasound. My Dr. said that it is possible to shrink them without surgery. I have no idea what method she was talking about and had no idea what it was she said I had either. This week I have been doing a lot of reading up to understand the diagnosis and what is means. I was relieved that it wasn't something worse however I am still worried about how to get rid of it and how invasive that will have to be. With all the reading I have not heard of one case so far where they were shrunk without surgery. Does anyone know of something new?
