Re: NIACIN to help lower cholesterol

My dear friend Niacin was administered orally and Nicotinic acid as Injectable too in the years before 1960 (approx) to reduce cholesterols and triglycerides ie. before the introduction of Clofibrate , and later on statins. Because of the side effects you hv mentioned Niacin was discontinued by the Medical profession. However i take lots of Garlic along with cooked food and green tea extract capsules being marketed online by Protivea.com and i keep my cholesterol levels normal
I am now 71 you too can follow mine. wish you good health
