From what I read so far I wonder why i should not eat sauerkraut ? the advice most people give me is to mainly eat fresh sauerkraut that since it contains an incredible amount of probiotics.
As for fermented food, it turns out it is actually highly beneficial for gut health according to recent research (fibers, see thepaleomom) .
I am taking a good probiotics daily now before my meals and already notice a slight energy increase.
@ the plant based diet suggestion. It is good to hear that some people felt better on plant based diets but the truth is that our guts are just not designed to digest most plants. Eating too much plant food actually gave me oxalate and inflammation problems!
