Re: Odd TSH results after supplementing with iodine

I supplement with a lot of things. I take alpha lipoic acid, vitamin C (ascorbic acid), B-complex, vitamin D3, vitamin K2, selenium, magnesium, vitamin E, omega 3 (from fish sources), astaxanthin, lutein, and occasionally chromium.
I'm trying an Iodine patch test this evening to see what happens with that.
On a side note, I was asking a pharmacist about Iodine and the thyroid earlier today and wasn't surprised that she knew virtually nothing about it beyond what the medical texts say. She became frustrated with my questions because she didn't know how to respond. She finally gave up and said she didn't know and rudely went back to her paperwork. I had been polite throughout my entire interaction with her, but I guess she didn't like having her lack of knowledge exposed.
