HCG messes Adrenal stress profile values?

Hello everyone,

I ordered the 24 hour cortisol/DHEA saliva test, which I have started to do today. As I had lowish testosterone values my doctor put me on HCG therapy, which I started two months ago. I have daily injections and had my last one yesterday but haven't taken the injection today.

I was wondering if HCG messes the results of the Adrenal stress profile and wether it is better to have the test like this (two months of daily HCG therapy but no injections during the day of taking the saliva samples) or stop the injections for a few days or maybe a week and then have the adrenal stress profile? In my country the test is fairly expensive so it'd be nice to get it as correct as possible at one try.

I need to decide tomorrow wether or not I'll return my samples and thus pay for the test so it would be wonderful if I could get some opinions before that. Thank you very much! Tweet
