Re: Intestinal Formula # 1 Newbie Question

Hello NewbieIF

Since you asked for advice I'd like to give some in hopes that it will help you with your condition.

The main point that stood out for me as I read your post is your understanding that you need to have 3BMs a day. Given the situation you described it seems to me that what you really need in the present is to have one good BM a day every day until you progress past the present chrisis. Once you progress beyond that then it will be more practical to strive for 3 a day habit that in itself has become a misnomer for people concerned about bowell health ; bowell health is very likely one of the best warning systems that we humans have for knowing that our overall health is or is not in trouble.

Most of us have been raised and conditioned by the mainstream to believe in the notion of "3 square meals a day". It stands to reason that this is where the related notion of "need to have 3BMs day" came from. At least from the view of genuine alternative health concerns, ideally, a person should have a BM after each meal, which is to say, a 5 meal a day person should have 5 BMs a day, a 1 meal a day person 1 BM, etc, but this is what the ideal is. Suffice it to say that as far as our overall condition of health, few of us exists in an environment conducive to ideal health, few of us conduct our lives with ideal actions, few of us were born with ideal heredity.

In more practical terms you may want to focus on producing 1 good BM a day. It looks like the BMs you are having are not thorough, possibly due to an accumulation of old matter somewhere in the lower GI but possibly higher than where the enemas have reached. Have you thought about including something like IF 2, which helps scour the G I tract of stuck or accumulated pockets of fecal matter. If you try IF2 be sure to drink enough water throughout the day but don't go overboard. Some people get caught up in this "need to drink X ounces of water per pound of body weight per day" and this notion can be as misleading as the "need to have 3 BMs a day" misinformation. One other thing to consider is taking something along the lines of a quick bowell flush to get you started; put in at the top end by mouth, not put in at bottom end. There are various supplements / products that quickly produce a thorough emptying of the lower GI. One that is most readily available and totally safe is a mega dose of vitamin C -good quality C that is - that exceeds your bowell tolerance, will produce BM, usually thorough and likely very loose within an hour or less.

Best of luck!
