Your are right - you often will find better and more affordable dental and medical care in Panama, Costa Rica, Belize and Mexico. Most I have heard from those that have gone to Costa Rica, Panama and Mexico. A colleague moved from US to Panama, he can offer better care there.

The US wants you to believe medical care outside the borders in inferior but this is simply not true. Many are from the US and fed up with the system, they want to help people first then make money, not make money in spite of harming people while trying to help them. The US is rated as the highest in expense for medical care and lower in quality of care.
