Re: PLease help urgent!!!

Yes, I knew TSH is useless. But my wife does not want to offend her doctor because it is difficult to change family doctors in Toronto.
My wife takes Iodoral because she just wants to get rid of her breast cysts. She is very healthy and she does not have any symptoms of hypthyroid. Her last TSH before taking Iodoral and companion nuitrients was 1.82 (normal range 0.27-4.20) but no tests were done for free T4 and free T3. We don't know her current exact TSH figure but it must be very high as her doctor called her to stop taking Iodoral because her TSH is high, which I think is wrong. High TSH is normal after taking Iodoral because of NIS and it is perfectly OK. What is important is how she feels and her basal temperature, and may be her thyroid anti-body, free T4 and free T3 figures as well.
I asked whether she should continue taking selenium because I have read somewhere that low Iodine and high selenium will make hypothyroidism worse. Anyway, she is still taking 200 mcg selenium daily. May be I tell her to take kelp as she did before taking Iodoral.
Should she take l-tyrosine to increase her T4?
Thanks!
