Re: Flavor Enhancer MSG Added to Flu Shot
>>"Adding a high PH (Baking Soda) to a low PH (Stomach Acid) environment on a regular basis does not compute.."<<
it is all about dose...
not only that there is a great deal of misinformation on *soda* out there.
it bears reminding that Cayce stated we need only four things...
water
salt
iodine
and
soda
As you most likely know, salts can help with HCL production...
I believe that I am Chloride sensitive... so why would I need more?
Bicarbonate ions are found in saliva, the stomach and pancreatic juices for a reason.. they aid digestion and help with assimilation of nutrients as much as the acids do.
this *IS* how energy is produced.
am I saying that all people need to take it?
no..
however, that said, some people are deficient in bicarbonate - or soda ions if you will... consuming and producing through various metabolic processes much more acid than they are able to neutralize for optimum performance and health... for these folks... the answer IMO is obvious.
just as the answer to those who do not produce enough stomach acid is to supplement with HCL... same difference.
BTW - I tried supplementing with HCL and it made things worse... what direction would you have taken if it was you who experienced that?
everyone needs to be treated as an individual.. there is no one size fits all... ever.
get the digestive nuances figured out *for you* and everything else falls into place nicely.
some people can tolerate the small amounts of soda during meals finding increased energy and decreased appetite - weight loss... others may have to take their doses between meals... some, those who produce adequate amounts day in and day out, not at all.
if you do not think you need it at all.. you can neutralize the soda with lemon, lime or vinegar and take it that way as a supplement.
potassium and/or sodium...
