Stomach going crazy, no matter what I eat.
I have had stomach problems off and on now for years. It seems to go in cycles, where I can be fine for years, even have occasional gluten and
Sugar with no problems and then like a switch is turned, horrible stomach problems also for several years. They switch back and forth. This last round, which has been about two and a half years long, has been horrible. During this time, my mom was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer, and I moved back home to take care of her. She died in May. Could any of my digestion issues be worsened by grief?
I eat the typical anti-candida diet, only drink water, don't smoke or drink, essentially very healthy eating. I have had extensive
food sensitivity testing and try to stay away from those I am sensitive to. However, it doesn't seem to matter what I eat now, within a couple of minutes of it hitting my stomach, my upper stomach immediately tightens up, almost like it's spasming, immediate reflux, immediate gas, bloating, voluminous non-stop burping, wheezing get worse (my asthma issues only started 4-5 years ago. I am 47), and sometimes my nose will start running. I will often feel anxious when this happens and sometimes lightheaded. I do not have hypglycemia or diabetes. I don't think my stomach has ever been this bad. I take digestive enzymes, HCL, an all natural leaky gut type of supp that is supposed to help with reflux, but isn't, Vit. D, magnesium, HydroxyB12, fish oil, liver support supp, molybdenum, yeast balance, and Undecyn. I do have a pretty moderate B12 deficiency, which I just started treating, as well as a severe folate deficiency, MTHFR, and so on. I also have an atlas subluxation, a messed up neck, minor scoliosis, etc., which I was told could also be affecting my digestion. I'm pretty sure I have heavy metal issues as well, as my new liver supp, which I love, has ALA in it and since I started taking it, my pee smells like metal and my saliva tastes like it, especially when I wake up in the morning. Could the messed up stomach issues be from heavy metals?
Can my stomach somehow react like it's allergic to every food, even when it isn't? Trying to figure out why it's doing this. Thanks.
