Yes, I get UTIs a lot, most of the time is a sub-clinical infection meaning that it's not detected on the normal culture. There's a lab I sent off to in DC that does a broth culture and they always show the growth. Treating with ABX always relieves the symptoms. I've never done a uterine smear test...what is that?

I think part of my trouble could be from the gut issues, like h. pylori, leaky gut and probably candida. Who knows, those could be contributing to the UTIs too. So you think by working on those that will fix the AF? Where does addressing thyroid fall into that theory? my dr. thinks that's part of it too, but I'm not sure what he recommends for treating. go back in 5 wks. Thank you!
