Re: Retest after being on TEI!
Hey Chocolatemocha! I'm in the same boat. I swapped over from ARL in August this year, due to the fact that I suspected that the high calcium levels in the Parramin and copper in the Limcomin was beginning to take it's toll on my thyroid. Since being on TEI I can honestly say I have not seen improvements, only deterioration of my
Chronic-Fatigue-Syndrome symptoms again. On TEI I was advised to increase the Magnesium and no more calcium and copper (I'm copper toxic which is why I never understood ARL's Limcomin for copper toxic people), which slightly improved my symptoms for a few weeks but now i suspect that all the magnesium and god knows what else in the TEI supplements has crashed my adrenals completely - at least on the ARL at times I did see and feel an improvement so much so that I was able to go back to work for a while. Not sure what did it with the TEI protocol, but something undid all my hard work on my adrenals. I suspect it might have been the focus on all that Magnesium. I am on Potassium also, but it only slightly helps and makes me dizzy times, adding to the extreme brain fog i now have. Now on less Magnesium but no change(to be fair to TEI i did get massive cold at one stage- which might have pushed adrenals) anyway since being on TEI I have had to leave my job due to the extreme brain fog and now bed riddened again. Think the TEI supplements/recommendations might be too stimulative and crash the adrenals. With ARL the problem seems to have been too much calcium and copper and with TEI it seems to be focus on too much magnesium and probably something else i haven't worked out yet. I'll have to wait for next hair analysis to confirm what is happening. But recent blood tests did show calcium serum has again increased with TEI and with ARL it had gone back down to normal. Anyway, I'm now not sure what to do next but I'm definitely back to square one.
