A belief at best. Maybe we are only a mind in a human body.
Even if we assume that there is another existence after death, there is no advantage to repeat to yourself that it will be better in the future. Your human existence will still be miserable. I suggest to take several deep breaths, and do what you have to do to clean your body regularly.

Beliefs and prayers don't seem to have the ability to change the reality, so i consider them a waste of time. I prefer understanding, skills, tools, ingredients.
