I just went through 2 days of hell with a garlic clove stuck inside of me. I have used garlic cloves many times and never had one get this badly stuck. It was in that "pocket" between the vaginal wall and cervix and due to my active yeast infection I was VERY swollen and "sticky" inside. And everything I did just seemed to push it up higher--and squats and hoking my finger didn't work at all. So, I decided to look at anatomical diagrams of the vagina and cervix--was able to pinpoint on the diagram where the clove was stuck and I realized I REALLY couldn't push it any higher so there was no danger. THEN I realized if I DID just keep pushing it--the end I could feel it would have no choice but to turn upside down and slide out the other way--so I got my astroglide and stuck my finger up there and just pushed on that suc*** and until it pushed against the far wall, slid down, turned around and I was able to get my finger around it then and pull it out easily. Phew!! I had never read anyone with this technique so I really wanted to share. Be assured the damn thing can't go anywhere "unsafe" and that just pushing it hard--"higher" in will cause it to turn back on itself. What a relief! I barely slept last night!
