Re: is it dairy or meat

Disclaimer: These are guidelines that I stick by, but food that are good or bad for you do differ from person to person. I'd say you can probably eat baked chicken and fish low on fat(like tilapia). Try to avoid processed foods and Sugar in general. For vegetables, AVOID beans, cabbage, broccoli, cauliflower, try eating small amounts of lettuce and cooked veggies like steamed carrots and sauteed spinach. For fruits, bananas and apples can give you gas, try berries instead or papaya. I also eat mushrooms and quinoa. You could give those a try? Taking a strong digestive enzymes with your meals, I've heard that helps reduce gas. That being said, I've been on this diet for about two months. The smell isn't gone, but it is very slightly reduced (I can tell because I haven't had a day where I find my smell intolerable- I can only smell myself when I smell very strongly and if I find my own smell intolerable this means things are very bad indeed). Mostly this diet has helped me with my IBS- I don't get so much gas that I'm in pain all day, no bowel cramping in general. I'm hoping that with powerful probiotics I can get back on the right track. Good luck to you! :)
