Yes, I was also cold intolerant. Whenever I would go out in cold weather I would wear so many layers it looked slightly ridiculous.

Actually, my avatar photo of me - wearing multiple layers and a patagonia fleece - was from a July camping trip.

From what I understand, the thyroid regulates the body's temperature and heat / cold sensitivity.
