Cool, there is actually a town called Boron, California
members of the ILWU Local 30 (and their families) who work at the US Borax/Rio Tinto mine in Boron, where we operate the largest open-pit mine in California and process borates that are used around the world to make glass, preserve wood, fight fires, fertilize plants, and a host of other products.
I'd gladly chip in an extra dollar a box for 20 mule, they been on lockout strike nearly a year or better now. Rio Tinto is the 4th largest miner in the world, they have huge mines in others countries including copper/silver mines. Interesting point about it maybe causing baldness but personally I'd rather miss some hair than miss the benefits of boron.
