Re: Cancer, Alternative Medicines
Just to get back on topic, one of the responses recommended getting a professional involved. This is of course desirable but it leaves me with more questions.
Any professional from the establishment side will give almost no recommendations or info on alternatives. From the alternative camp, the term professional is so relative it is meaningless so I suppose what I need are recommendations on locally known naturopaths (Perth, Western Australia) who give good reliable honest information.
The little girl I mentioned has gone through the recommended protocols which was basically just radiotherapy. Chemo was ruled out by the hospital specialists, the little girl is a poor candidate for the potential ravages of chemo'.
I need an alternative medicine expert/naturopath/professional/doctor who I can talk to about various alternatives which I've come across.
We've tried four different things so far, one or two of which seem to be working at the moment to hold the cancer in check. Based on basic outward symptoms there has been no degradation over the last five weeks but none of us are experienced at judging cancer symptoms based on appearance and behaviour.
FYI we've tried an experiment drug which I can't mention, we're currently using a natural which I can't mention, we're currently using something called 'Transfer Factor' (it's claims are highly dubious and the medical journal articles don't support it's claimed function), we're about to start using something called Protocel and we've also got something called FuCoyDon lined up.
I think I will look into the BX medicine someone mentioned.
