Re: Pills made from poop cure gut infections

Why didn't they make this a suppository instead of a pill? It makes no sense to me at all to address colon issue like this through oral administration. You have to overcome stomach acid, pancreatic enzymes, bile, small intestine enzymes, stomach, small intestine transit time/blockages/irregularities, ileocecal valve irregularities.

???????????

Not to mention the fact that the therapy they are copying, fecal implant, is exactly that - a fecal implant, not oral implant.

None of these pills that supposedly are targeted to dissolve exactly in the colon have worked for me. Probably because if you have bad intestine problems your gut is not working as it should to begin with.

The same pill they have could be put in a dissolving glycerine suppository or even better combine it with some inulin or lactose so that the bacteria can thrive and feed instantly.
