LCN2 initiates inflammation.

Unless one has arthritis, fibromyalgia, lupus, or osteoporosis, a rheumatologist is usually a waste of time. Perhaps your rheumatologist may be more open or knowledgeable to discuss inflammatory conditions that s/he does not treat, though.
