OMG,
IMO, that is the WORST treatment possible. The doctor wants to destroy your thyroid with radioactive Iodine and forever subject you to Thyroid drugs & hormone imbalance. The thyroid is a major player in your hormones. They hide behind lead shields and the jar is in a lead bottle. The radioactive Iodine goes into other organs that soak up Iodine besides your thyroid. Breasts, ovaries, uterus also soak up iodine. IMO, RAI is a choice of last resort. Were you taking ALL of the required co-supplements?
STOP eating all wheat products as you will see below.

Doctors are all alike, there is something grossly wrong:
* Iodine cures fibrocystic breasts, doctors insist on mastectomy
* Iodine cures ovarian cysts, doctors insist on surgery
* iodine cures uterus problems, doctors insist on hysterectomy
* Destroy the thyroid or drugs when when iodine is the answer.

Your goiter is caused by severe iodine deficiency, not by lack of drugs or disease. Ditto thyroid nodules if you have them. All are reversible with proper nutrition. You can't just take iodine, you also require selenium especially for hyperthyroid. You also need to do the Dr. Brownstein Iodine Protocol to get the toxins of fluoride, bromide & chlorine out of your thyroid.
