Fasting to fix Patella tendinosis

I have heard that Tendinosis is a condition that once developed will never go away.

However, because I am only 18, I still possess hope. My Tendinosis is on my left knee. I am wondering if I lost a lot of weight through fasting(currently 210lb at 6'5 and not fat, can still jump 185cm(6'1) in High Jump), up to 70lb would be enough to fix it. I guess that would equate to a 40 day fast. I know that will make me underweight but it has always been a dream to become a good athlete, and I will do anything to break the barriers that are obstructing me.

I know this probably won't get very many views, or maybe I should have put it up on some other forum, but even with my knee I still plan to run sub 11, though currently with the injury and only a little training I am managing to run 11.6 for the 100m, but I am sure if I can lose my knee problem I will be able to run <10.5s

I am also recovering from an ACL reconstruction and meniscus repair on my right knee, though that seems to be recovering well, as I have had little pain since three days post-op, though still on crutches 4 weeks post-op because they can't tell how the meniscus is healing, but there is nothing to suggest it is going badly. Ironically my bad left knee has become my relatively good knee.

PLEASE, if anyone has anyway that I can fix this without excessive expense then please share. It is by far the most frustrating injury I have ever had.
