Re: Kidney problem, candida toxins?
Thank you for the suggestions! Hopefully my reply will make sense..
My kidneys only bother me when i take sf722, coconut or oregano oil. Even one tablespoon of coconut oil seems to bother them a bit. (it's when i wake up and breathe in that i feel the dull pain, but only after taking the above)
My gut candida is gone. Perhaps it's stirring up toxins from the non-gut candida - since i only take systemic antifungals like coconut oil, once in a while - vs Nystatin for the gut-candida, which i take 3x/day.
if i go for a few days without, and then decide to take a few teaspoons of coconut oil, for example, i will feel a bit of head buzzing, which i know means candida dying. but, if i take coconut oil again the next day, i get none of the head buzzing - leading me to conclude that most of the candida dies from the initial dose of coconut oil, and that i don't have much in my body anymore.
anyways.. after/during the corn silk week, i used chanca piedra (capsules and tincture) for just over a week. i never felt any stones come out. but a couple of times i did feel something in there that made me think stone. and a couple of times, my pee did stream a bit for like 2 seconds. perhaps i have microstones. i also tried baking soda/water a few times on an empty stomach. i've backed off the diuretics/stone breakers/baking soda, and am on milk thistle, which i hear can also help the kidneys. and a mostly paleo diet (other than brown rice and buckwheat). and have let up on the frozen spinach and other oxalate foods somewhat, as they were staples prior.
it's all frustrating me because i want to take a more total body candida killer, to make sure i get it all, but don't want my kidneys damaged in the process. however, i was never diagnosed with, as many call it, a systemic candida infection, but rather a gut infection, so perhaps Nystatin alone is all i need. it works really well in my opinion, if the dose is high enough (3m per day). 1.5 million didn't help and i did that for 6 months. doubling the dose (and being
Sugar free) got me better quick.
i have heard of Dr. McCombs and did his program for a while, along with the Nystatin. I was sauna/bath detoxing, etc. I found that the fruit allowed the candida to regrow. I think his plan would have worked sans fruit - however, I spent four months eating fruit, and looked jaundice toward the end. as soon as i went off of fruit, i got better much very quickly. i don't think he should suggest fruit, and i'm wondering if he does that to make his plan more appealing to sufferers. almost everyone i've come across says fruit makes them worse. i read a ton of posts on curezone and other sites about the fruit/no fruit debate, and there were only a few people who said fruit was ok for them. even now, after a longtime of treatment for what I believe was a mild/moderate infection, for a otherwise healthy, young guy, i can tell my candida is multiplying when i eat fruit, and if i eat enough, i get the head buzzing. it is getting less and less, but still there.
sorry to ramble! this stuff is just so intricate. and issues creep up during treatment that must be delt with. and then, there's the issue of, when does treatment conclude.
