It is the Iodine that replaces the other halogens; as they may occupy the Iodine receptor when-if we are short on iodine.
Fluoride, bromide, chlorine are taken in bucket loads today, compared with iodine. All from cars, to strawberries and teflon pans, gore tex fabric etc.

- Borax / boron are said to help fluoride detox; and as it balances the magnesium / calcium it may be so.
Calcification of the pineal gland, for instance, caused by fluoride (they have found HIGH levels of fluoride in the pineal) as fluoride naturally bind to calcium. Teeth, bones are effected, osteoporosis etc.

No reason to believe that iodine/boron cancel each other out. Rather complement each other, at least is this what have been reported at this board. And as already mentioned, I wouldnt bother with spacing them.

But none of this is rocket science, just our observations after supplementing both.
