So glad you wrote this post! I have the same exact situation...no other oil does it to me, I use only the highest quality brands (Nutiva and TJ's WFN's), and it feels like I am having a heart attack. This only seems to happen to me when I put it in my coffee, not if I cook veggies with it. I also notice my skin feels dryer after a few hours if I use it as a moisturizer, but I am fine when I use olive oil, or an arbonne product. My mother uses the same coconut oil with apparently no problem, though. I am type O positive, but I only write that because you mentioned it, not because I think it is related. I am not sure what my mother's blood type is. I know several people at mercola.com have also mentioned problems with coconut oil, btw.
