Uny - or Water..spleen help..

I can't determine the cause of this particular pain and discomfort that has gotten worse over the last year. It's on my left side as the ribs start to go around my back and occasionally I have dull pain in the left abdomen area, directly below my left breast - so I'm guessing it could be my spleen?
But, it's harder and harder to breathe..Best way to describe it is it feels like broken ribs poking me..
I don't know if a spleen is something that can be fixed, or what could be the problem. I do know that last year's and the year before's Physical showed lowered platelet counts.

I don't have insurance now - just started a new job - and doctors are such a waste of time and money unless you have one that actually knows something..
