Re: what happens after 5 years?

I know this is a really old post, but did you ever find anything out? I also no longer need the IUD as birth control but like the way it controls my period. My insurance no longer covers have a new one either. I would like to leave this one in as long as I can but worry about the side effects. I've had it for almost 6 yrs now.
