That is faith in man...and yes, our faith is weak when we seek man when we should seek God first. However, God will meet us where we are NOW....even in our weak state and God will sometimes use doctors, just like he used the snake up on the cross for the Israelites to find healing from. It was to increase their faith...but many do not move forward past that weak faith. They keep focusing on the symbol and giving their belief and life to the symbol or idea and not to God.

Jesus was not just a symbol on the cross, He was fully man and fully God. He is not just a symbol for us to represent. There is no man (Sons of God, as some call them) pure enough to have taken all the sins of mankind away, except for God Himself. He is who we worship...not a concept of christ, not christ consciousness, not a symbol of christ...the real Christ, who died and rose again and now reigns in heaven in a glorified body and in the hearts of believers in spirit as the Holy Spirit.
