Yikes, I thought that would be faster. I was trying to find an article I came across a year or two ago in The Stranger which talked about how to go about obtaining a medical marijuana card.

I believe this is the same article, but it seems to have been greatly expanded upon, probably owing to the new laws. Here's the link, for whatever use it may or may not be. I'm not sure whether doctors prescriptions are still necessary to go to a dispensary, but if you need one I think the link can lead you to one. There's also a long list of the various dispensaries in the greater Seattle area, and maybe the rest of the state, too. I dunno. As I see it, the problem with this sort of garbage is putting up with all the stoners and their nonsense. If people are to take this seriously, as a real medicine, then it should treated as a serious medicine. Personally, I'm going to think about this for a couple days and then decide. If I'm forced to deal with stoners and people gaming the system, then so be it, I'll do whatever I have to do. I might even telephone a couple dispensaries and see if they have any advice....
