Spikes in estrogen have been attributed to the growth in a hemangioma. Any hemangioma over 5 cm needs a consult with a general surgeon to see what the options are, as you are now at risk of having it rupture. Limit physical activities, no contact sports or activities (roller coasters, off road jeeping, etc, included). I would advise you seek a 2nd opinion with a gastroenterologist, or a hepatic surgeon.
